At the end of April Dr. Boxrud and a few of her staff members, Lynn and Liza, volunteered at the Remote Area Medical(RAM) clinic. The clinic provided free medical services to over 14,000 uninsured individuals across Los Angeles. The services ranged from physical exams, to dental servicies, and vision testing. Dr. Boxrud helped out in performing dilated eye exams while Lynn and Liza directed patients through their services. Dr. Boxrud as well as Lynn and Liza found the experience truly amazing, touching, and a lot of fun. It was an honor to take part in such an extraordinary event. Dr. Boxrud looks forward to helping again next year.
